To paraphrase an age-old typing exercise, “Now is the time for all good men members to come to the aid of the NOBC!" It is time to consider becoming a candidate for NOBC Officer, Director or Delegate.
The elections will be held for President-Elect, Treasurer, Secretary, one Director-at-Large (Term: 2017-2019) and the NOBC Delegate to the ABA House (Term: 2017-2019). The election of officers and directors will take place at the Business Meeting during the Annual Meeting of NOBC. This year that will be Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 8:30 AM, in New York, New York.
Melinda Bentley, Treasurer, has announced her intention to seek the President-Elect position. Wendy Muchman, Secretary, will seek the Treasurer position. John Berry will be seeking another term as ABA Delegate.
If you have any interest in seeking a position on the Board, please send an email with your résumé or curriculum vitae, a statement of your reasons for seeking the office and a list of your NOBC involvement to the Nominating Committee¹:

¹ In accordance with NOBC By-Laws and tradition, the Nominating Committee is comprised of the Immediate Past President and 2 other Board members, neither of whom is a candidate in the forthcoming election.
